Meet Maria
Who I work with
I’m Maria – a business strategist, marketing professional, and certified time‑management specialist for people with full‑time jobs and “one day” projects. For 7 years, I worked as a content strategist for international China‑focused brands, managing a remote team, earning consistently strong manager feedback, and actively sponsoring promotions for my teammates through thoughtful workload and strengths analysis. I’ve spent 9 years in marketing strategy overall and the last 2 years practising time‑management consulting and coaching, primarily with people from different countries, cultures, and expectations, which means I’m quick to spot what you believe in and what actually works for you in practice. I’m also on track to complete an ICF‑aligned coaching certification in 2026.

How I think
I studied Philosophy for my bachelor’s degree and Global Communications for my master’s. That mix of “how humans think” and “how systems and stories shape us” sits under everything I do: I care about what you’ve been taught to value, what you’ve internalised as “normal”, and whether it actually works for you.
My turning point
For a long time, my “normal” looked like compulsively checking WeChat every 15 minutes after work, being unable to stay offline, and then beating myself up because there was never any real “me time”.
The turning point was one December evening three years ago when I found myself crying over my last year’s New Year’s resolutions and realising that nothing I said I wanted had moved, simply because I never made time for it. That’s when I promised myself I would figure out time and energy in a way that worked for my own development and goals – not just everyone else’s priorities.
What I believe in
I believe you don’t need more discipline; you need a way of working that aligns with your brain, season of life, energy levels and productivity cycles.
I believe “having no time” is often a structural and emotional problem, not a personal failure, and that shame is one of the least useful tools for change.
I also believe in small, repeatable experiments over massive life overhauls – tiny, honest adjustments to your calendar, expectations, and commitments that compound into a life where your own projects actually move.

If not, you’ll still leave clearer on what you need and where to go next.
